Exciting Developments for the 2025 Green Route Season

The 2025 Green Route season is shaping up to be one of our best yet! We’re thrilled to announce several exciting events and updates that will kick off the year, beginning with the launch of our new website. This will make it easier than ever to register for events, explore our latest news, and engage with our community.

To start the season strong, we’re hosting the Hare & The Hound event for the third year in a row, taking place on May 10th. This popular event continues to bring together cyclists for a fun, challenging ride. Following that, we’re supporting the Terry Fox Manitoba Ride of Hope on June 21st—a ride close to our hearts as we help raise awareness for cancer research. Green Route founder Dan will be participating in this national ride, with a goal of raising $45,000 as he completes his 7,000 km journey from Vancouver to St. John’s. We encourage all members to support Dan’s efforts, as he rides for an incredible cause.

In exciting news, Green Route is expanding into the Cyclocross discipline this year! We’ve teamed up with Marty Gaudet to bring you an epic cyclocross race at Holiday Mountain, MB. This new venture is a great opportunity for riders to test their skills on a new terrain and have fun while doing it.

We’re also unveiling our 2025 Green Route jersey in February, inspired by nature and featuring subtle designs that honor the 45th Terry Fox National Ride of Hope. This special edition jersey will be available for pre-order, ensuring it arrives in time for the start of the outdoor road season.

Finally, we’re limiting 50 memberships for the 2025 season. Once these spots are filled, cyclists will be able to join the waitlist for a chance to join the Green Route community later in the season. Make sure to sign up early to secure your place!
